- Concerns & suggestions about the required use of p-card for travel expenses (Travel Policy update announced in “Fall 2021 Return Plan”):
- (1) adds unfamiliar tasks for which faculty have no training/expertise, these tasks detrimentally impact faculty productivity (research, teaching, service), and passing these tasks from faculty onto their units cannot be sustained by those units’ capacities and budgets;
- (2) was made unilaterally and without warning to faculty and staff, if not also to unit and college administrators.
