Faculty Senate members,

Thank you so much for providing lunch for the staff of Brewer-Porch Children’s Center. As you may know, we serve youth with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and many of them live on our campus. This work is very rewarding, even while COVID-19 has presented a new and evolving set of challenges. Our team members, and particularly those who work directly with the children, have been wonderful in adapting to any changes that we have had to make while still providing our residents with the best possible care.   Mental health is an essential need, particularly in these uncertain times, and we are grateful for your recognition of the efforts of our dedicated employees.  I cannot thank you enough for helping show our appreciation for all of our team members’ hard work and dedication to BPCC. This was a much needed pick-me-up for our staff and everyone enjoyed the terrific food from Taco Mama on Cinco de Mayo!
